High-fiber Carrot Bran Bread(bread Machine)

Total Time: 3 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup high-fiber all-bran cereal
  • 1/3 cup dry buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or 1 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast

Recipe

  • 1 measure ingredients into baking pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  • 2 insert pan into the oven chamber.
  • 3 select whole wheat cycle.
  • 4 when the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
  • 5 let cool to room temperature before slicing.
