Janae's Beef Stew

Total Time: 4 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs stew meat
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 (3 ounce) package plain gelatin
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cup corn
  • 3 tablespoons uncooked rice
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 12 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 in large stew pot, add stew meat, beans, salt, pepper and 4 cups water & cook for 2 hours.
  • 2 add celery, gelatin & onion & 4 cups water and cook for 1 more hour.
  • 3 add carrots, corn, rice & 4 cups water and cook 15 minutes.
  • 4 add noodles & potatoes & cook for 30 minutes and serve.
