Great (and Easy) Chicken And Veggies

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed & chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube, crushed
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 orange bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag frozen green beans
  • 10 baby carrots, sliced in half
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 3 dashes worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, seasoning blend (i use pampered chef)
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 2 dashes hot sauce (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat stainless steal pan oven medium heat & pour in oil.
  • 2 add chicken breasts and sear both sides.
  • 3 while chicken is cooking chop all veggies.
  • 4 when chicken is brown on each side pull out of pan and add garlic, flour, water, lemon juice & bouillon.
  • 5 scrape bottom of pan and mix all the scrapings and added ingredients together well.
  • 6 stir in all veggies & seasonings.
  • 7 when veggies are about half way done (crisp tender) add chicken back into center of pan.
  • 8 cover & simmer until chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  • 9 serve over brown rice.
