Favorite Fried Rice

Ingredients

- 2 cups rice
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 3 eggs, whipped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup carrot
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cooking sherry
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 pinch pepper
Recipe
- 1 boil rice in 4 cups water mixed with the hoisin sauce.
- 2 pour into shallow dish and put in fridge to cool.
- 3 heat oil in wok.
- 4 add garlic, ginger, onion, peas and carrots and saute for 1 minute.
- 5 add the eggs and cook like an omelet.
- 6 mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, sherry, sesame oil and pepper.
- 7 add rice to wok.
- 8 pour sauce over rice and mix.
- 9 serve and enjoy.
