Curly Kale With Raisins, Walnuts And Chili

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced into thin rounds
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 10 raisins
- 5 walnuts, crumbled into pieces
- 4 cups kale, de-stemmed and chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- salt
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a large pan. add carrots, onions, raisins, walnuts and chili and saute until onions are soft.
- 2 add the kale, salt and a couple tablespoons of water. cover pan with a lid.
- 3 check the kale after a couple of minutes. add more water and cook longer if necessary.
