Easy Slow Cooker "bra-talian" Beef Stew

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 beef eye round
  • 3 large minced garlic cloves
  • 1 large onion, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 (14 ounce) bag frozen stew vegetables (broccoli,carrot, zucchini for example)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 24 ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons palm oil (dende oil, or to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 turn on slow cooker setting it to 5 hours on low. add olive oil to bottom of slow cooker and place 4 steaks in as well.
  • 2 proceed to place the ingredients into the cooker in order.
  • 3 add small amounts of water until the penne is nearly covered.
