Glazed Baby Carrots With Thyme

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 rinse carrots & combine everything but thyme in a stainless steel or nonstick frying pan.
  • 2 bring to a boil, cover & reduce heat to medium.
  • 3 cook about 10 minutes, water should be evaporated & carrots tender.
  • 4 stir carrots seveeral times for about 5 - 10 minutes (5 for glazed, 10 for lightly browned) i left the lid on between stirring.
  • 5 remove from heat, stir in thyme & serve.
