Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 30 g butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange rind, grated
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • to taste carrot

Recipe

  • 1 cook the carrots until tender.
  • 2 melt the butter and add the other ingredients.
  • 3 heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved and glaze is hot. add the drained carrots and turn them to coat. cheers doreen, doreen randal, wanganui.
