Ham Primavera

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrot
  • 1 cup julienned ham (or 2 cans on chunk ham)
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 lb spaghetti

Recipe

  • 1 cook the pasta while you are preparing the rest of the dish in a large saute pan. reserve a little of the pasta water to add to the sauce if you would like to thin it a bit.
  • 2 saute the onion and garlic in the butter for 2-3 minutes.
  • 3 add the carrots and saute for a couple more minutes.
  • 4 then add the broccoli and cook until bright green. i cover it and let the veggies get nearly done, as my family does not like their veggies with any crunch left.
  • 5 add the ham, mustard and the italian seasoning and saute for a couple more minutes.
  • 6 toss in the cooked spaghetti noodles and serve.
