Green Herb Hummus

Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons tahini (middle eastern sesame paste)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 6 basil leaves
- 1 medium scallion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dill, chopped, fresh
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Recipe
- 1 place ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- 2 serve with dippers such as carrot sticks, sliced cucumber, whole wheat pita chips, flat breads, to name just a few. garnish with parsley and/or dill.
- 3 may refrigerate up to 2 days.
