Ground Beef Noodle Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup carrot
- 7 cups water
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope au jus mix
- 2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked egg noodles
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan or dutch oven, cook the beef, onion, celery and carrot over medium heat and drain.
- 2 add the water, au jus mix, bouillon, bay leaves and pepper and bring to a boil.
- 3 stir in the noodles and return to a boil.
- 4 cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
- 5 discard bay leaves before serving.
