Garlic Stock For Soups

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 24 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 carrots
  • 4 celery ribs, including the leaves
  • 2 onions
  • 2 turnips
  • 2 quarts water
  • parsley, as desired

Recipe

  • 1 wash and chop up vegetables and add to your water in good sized pot.
  • 2 add your parsley.
  • 3 bring your pot of water and veggies to a boil
  • 4 bring down to a simmer and cover, continuing to simmer for about an hour or so.
  • 5 drain your stock and use as desired.
  • 6 (need not worry about vampires after using this) :-).
