Crock Pot Chicken Stew

Total Time: 4 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 russet potatoes or 4 yukon gold potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 cup green beans (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 place cut up chicken in crock pot.
  • 2 mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a small bowl, and pour over chicken; stir to coat chicken with flour.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients (except green beans) and mix well.
  • 4 cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or high 4-5 hours.
  • 5 add green beans (optional) 1 hour before serving.
