Honey Carrots

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb carrot (frozen or fresh, peeled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (or margarine)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Recipe

  • 1 cook carrots in small amount of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • 2 drain, reserve 1/4 cup of the carrot liquid.
  • 3 combine reserved carrot liquid, honey, butter and brown sugar.
  • 4 stir well and pour over carrots.
  • 5 cook over low heat until heated thoroughly.
