- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 cups green beans
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 small onions, cut in wedges
- 3 carrots, thickly sliced
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt and pepper
