Health Grain Bread

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water (1 1/4 cups for large loaf)
  • 1 1/2 cups bread flour (2 cups for large loaf)
  • 1/4 cup wheat flour (3/4 cup for large loaf)
  • 1/2 teaspoon gluten (3/4 tsp. for large loaf)
  • 2 teaspoons dry milk (1 tbsp. for large loaf)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (1 1/2 tsp. for large loaf)
  • 2 teaspoons honey (1 tbsp. for large loaf)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (2 tbsp. for large loaf)
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot (1/2 cup for large loaf)
  • 1/4 cup raisins (1/2 cup for large loaf)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (1/2 cup for large loaf)
  • 1/4 cup bran flakes (1/2 cup for large loaf)
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ (2 tbsp. for large loaf)
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast (3 tsp. for large loaf)

Recipe

  • 1 add ingredients to machine in order given.
  • 2 operate machine according to manual instructions.
  • 3 note: if you use a timed bake cycle, keep the carrots away from the yeast so they do not turn brown.
