Granny Ruth's Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef bouillon or 1 cup broth
- salt and pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) package frozen broccoli cuts
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh carrot
- 1 (11 ounce) can niblets corn
- 5 -6 large potatoes, cooked and mashed as you like them
Recipe
- 1 brown ground beef in dutch over or deep frying pan, drain.
- 2 add onions and peppers, sauté until tender crisp.
- 3 add worcestershire, boullion, salt and pepper.
- 4 bring to a boil.
- 5 add carrots and broccoli, cover and cook until tender.
- 6 add drained corn.
- 7 put in casserole and cover with hot mashed potatoes.
- 8 bake at 350°f for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- 9 turn oven to broil and brown mashed potatoes about 5 minutes.
