If My Husband Had His Own Restaurant ... Crock Pot Roast

Total Time: 8 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 large carrots
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 2 celery ribs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 -3 lbs beef shoulder
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced garlic

Recipe

  • 1 coarsely chop carrots, potatoes and celery.
  • 2 place them in the bottom of your crock pot.
  • 3 heat oil in frying pan.
  • 4 add water, dry soup mix, and bouillon to crock pot.
  • 5 brown roast in hot oil.
  • 6 place roast on top of vegetables in the crock pot.
  • 7 pour soy sauce over roast.
  • 8 rub garlic on the roast.
  • 9 set crock pot on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5 hours.
