Jaime's Cottage Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cooking onion, sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen broccoli
  • low-sodium beef bouillon granules
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • a.1. original sauce

Recipe

  • 1 put potatoes in a sauce pan with enough water to cover them and boil until soft.
  • 2 brown the beef, lamb and cooking onions in a little olive oil.
  • 3 add pepper and a1 to taste.
  • 4 add bullion and water.
  • 5 combine meat mixture, carrotts and brocolli and spread in an oven proof dish.
  • 6 mash the potatoes with the butter and add green onion.
  • 7 spread the potatoe mixture over the meat.
  • 8 cook at 375 for 30 minutes or until the top is brown.
