Healthy Turkey Meatloaf

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup nonfat milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 in a bowl, mix together turkey, egg whites, bread crumbs, milk, onion, carrots, 1 t italian seasoning, cinnamon, salt and pepper. press into loaf pan.
  • 3 whisk together tomato paste, water and remaining italian seasoning. spoon on top of meatloaf.
  • 4 bake for 50 minutes.
