Low Carb Ham And Black Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup cubed ham
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (19 ounce) can black beans, washed
  • 1/2 cup tiny diced carrot
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pot combine all ingredients. bring to a boil - reduce heat and allow soup to gently simmer for approximately 2 hours stirring occasionally. the closer to 2 hours this soup cooks the better it tastes.
  • 2 approximately 6 grams of carbs per serving.
